Nice of you to drop by! We are Karin and Walter Ramsbacher, your hosts at the Ramsi Family Hotel. Our hotel has been family-owned for over 100 years and we are now the third generation to run it. Together with our team, we live hospitality. Attentive, competent, humorous and warm. So that you can enjoy your family holiday with us to the fullest.

THE RAMSI IMP: A LOVABLE RASCAL.

Do you already know our funny Ramsi Imp? He loves children more than anything. And the children love him. Every day he comes to visit you at the Ramsi Family Hotel to play and dance with you. But he also likes skiing, feeding the farm animals and is often out and about in the fairytale forest. He is also quite a glutton. He could eat and eat all day long.

Ramsi the Imp is always up to mischief and likes to play tricks. We could tell you stories about that! One time, however, he got so carried away that the fairy godmother from the fairy-tale forest magically took away his voice. Our senior boss Walter Ramsbacher discovered him shortly afterwards and rescued him from a tricky situation. Since then, they have been best friends and Ramsi has become a member of the family.

FAMILY HOLIDAY TRADITION FOR OVER 100 YEARS.

From agriculture to farm holidays to family hotels

The Ramsbacher family has owned the Ramsi Family Hotel for over 100 years. It all began with a farm and forestry with beekeeping, a sawmill and a flour mill. At the beginning of the fifties, we welcomed our first guests for a holiday on the farm. This was followed by extensive extensions and conversions until our business became a family hotel with four stars.

1902

THE FAMILY'S FIRST FARM.

Our great-grandfather bought the "Untergerald" property and ran a farm and forestry business with beekeeping, a sawmill and a flour mill.

1950

THE FIRST GUESTS SPEND THEIR HOLIDAYS ON THE FARM.

The residential and farm building was converted in stages and the first guests were able to enjoy their holiday on the farm.

1992

KINDERHOTEL RAMSI.

After a major refurbishment, we opened our Kinderhotel Ramsi. We then completed the winter garden, sauna area and the first children's playroom.

1999

HAUS SONNENSCHEIN AND INDOOR CHILDREN'S POOL.

Our new Haus Sonnenschein took shape. The following year, the children's indoor pool and the sun terrace were completed. A real treat!

2003

KARIN AND WALTER RAMSBACHER TAKE OVER.

Walter and Karin Ramsbacher took over the business. We offered winter holidays with ski school for the first time. The indoor play paradise and the Wichtelbar were created.
