Is an autumn holiday worthwhile with young children?

Absolutely! At Ramsi, plenty of holiday happiness awaits in any weather. Childcare, indoor pools, an indoor play world and many other offers provide variety even on cooler autumn days. And when the sun shines, our huge sun plateau awaits right outside the hotel door.

When can we check in?

Your room is ready for you from 4 pm. But your Ramsi holiday can start even earlier: you can arrive from 10 am and already enjoy the hotel's infrastructure. On your departure day, you can make the most of your holiday until 2 pm, and the +CARD holiday is also fully valid on your arrival and departure days.

What is there to do around Ramsi on the southern side of the Alps?

Plenty! If you feel like an excursion, Ramsi is wonderfully located between Nassfeld, Lake Pressegg and Lake Weissensee, and with the +CARD holiday you get exclusive free access to the Nassfeld cable cars. Day trips to our neighbours in Italy and Slovenia are also highly recommended.

Q: Is the outdoor pool still open in autumn?

Our heated outdoor pool remains open in autumn, weather permitting. The panoramic indoor pool and the children's adventure pool are available to you every day throughout autumn from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm.

Q: Are children allowed in the sauna?

Yes! Our Ramsi family sauna in the children's indoor pool area is open daily from 2 pm to 6:30 pm and is specially designed for families. The Alpine Spa is reserved for adults and teenagers aged 16 and over.

70 hours of childcare per week

Up to 70 hours of childcare per week, seven days a week, and available for our youngest guests from 6 months old. Our children’s entertainers provide games, adventures and plenty of laughter.

Older children aren’t left out either: for kids and teenagers aged 9 and over, there’s a dedicated programme as well as the Teen Room with an iWall, pinball machine and air hockey.

And Mum and Dad? They can simply enjoy some time together every now and then.

Rabbits, donkeys, goats, sheep, a pony, Haflinger horses and our Icelandic horse are all part of the Ramsi family. On our animal trekking trips, we head out into the countryside – at a leisurely, fun pace that’s just right for little explorers.

Whilst your children are in the best of hands, your own personal time-out awaits you at the Alpen-Spa: a Finnish cabin sauna with views of the Carnic Alps, a sanarium, a floral steam bath, infrared floating loungers and cosy relaxation areas with hanging baskets.

Several times a week, our moonlight sauna ensures particularly relaxing evenings. The Alpen-Spa is reserved for adults and young people aged 16 and over.

Lake Pressegger See is about a 15-minute drive away and, with its warm waters, is ideal for a carefree day of swimming. Lake Weißensee is about a 30-minute drive away and offers you a sense of nature, the joy of exploring and a picture-perfect backdrop.
